Blueberry/Strawberry Buckle

A country classic, this wonderful cake is filled with fresh fruit, layered with and topped with a butter, flour, sugar coating which is called the “buckle.” It makes a wonderful breakfast item, or a dessert served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

They are 1000mg total, making nine slices as a square cake, or as two loaves. These are made to order.
